My mom wanted to go letterboxing for her birthday. So even though the weather wasn't the best and Joe's driving scares her, we tried this one box. (The other the road was too bad.) We didn't find it, but we did come across 2 people, a dad and his son, who were looking for a geocache. We swapped information & it was fun talking to them. Mom said if we ever came across anyone else doing it, we'd make sure to talk to them- not just go somewhere else for a little bit.Anyhow, we didn't have any luck. Not sure exactly what pile of rocks, but if it was too low the water could have carried it away.
