The Alamo 1724

This one has just been replaced, and I'm so glad it was!! We did find it, but that's not what made it exciting. We found the right place and no one was around.

We sent Nater off to get it reminding him to be all sneaky. Well, I look over and look who is walking by! He waved, and went about his business. I had to get a picture of him.

Road Side Attractions: Our Lady of the Rockies

2 for the price of 1!! Yes, that's a HH that we found, a "Beer Hitchhiker" to be exact. I'd hoped Nater wouldn't get any beer on him till he was over 21, but no such luck I guess! ;)

We are bummed to miss the meet up, but at least could find a couple on our big mega road trip.

Quack Quack!

So we started the morning on on a good note- a find! Not just a find, but we had a great time reading up, and observing wildlife. We also stuck in one of the HH's we'd gotten. (We were waiting to stick it where we knew it would be picked up soon.)

1st HH launched!

In honor of Nater's new stamp- we are using his old one to travel the US! I placed it today- bet you can't guess where! I hope it travels well!

Homestake

This was a nice & quick little walk. Fresh mountain air, a nice lake right there, and lots of hikers in the area! We had to be a little sneeky, but it made it that much more fun!

One other "fun" moment we had was that the box contained 2 hitch hikers! How cool is that! They are our 1st & 2nd ones- and we have ideas on where we'd like to place them. One should be placed Friday night in Missoula (if we can find the box!) and the other we want to take to Texas with us.
