The drive to Garnet, Montana was all of our first trip there. Even though 3 of us have lived here for almost 3 yrs, we'd never made the drive.My mom printed a letterbox for it (since she knew we were going to go while she was up visiting from Texas) and that sealed the deal.
We'd tried letterboxing last summer- with no luck. So with her to show us the way, we woudl shortly know what we were doing!
She knew of one LB, however when we got there (what a CRAZY road, with mud & snow- beware of driving in spring runoff) we found out at the visitors station that there were 2 LB's. We had to hike through the snow, but we found them both.
Not only that, we also hid our first box there as well! Fun times- and now my mom has created a monster!
